TEXAS HIGH SCHOOL
BASS ASSOCIATION

ABOUT US

The Texas High School Bass Association is a non-profit corporation and shall be operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code.

The Texas High School Bass Association's purpose is to provide a venue where high school students have the opportunity to compete in organized tournaments while establishing strict guide lines and academic standards that will allow our student anglers to excel in the class room and on the lake.

We strive to provide a fair and controlled atmosphere while providing a structured activity allowing students access to the outdoors and awarding high school students monetary scholarships for excellence.

All proceeds from tournament entries, sponsorships, membership fees and donations are used for students scholarships that are awarded to the student's high school and are not awarded to student angler until that said student meets all qualifications of high school graduation and has in place a plan to further his education by the way of college, university or trade school. The only exception to this is general operating expenses needed to put on tournaments.

The Texas High School Bass Association provides volunteer opportunities for our student members to help in other charitable organizations.
